The Santissimo Rosario Church (Church of the Most Holy Rosary) - Casale
Via Cavour - Casale di Tripi
The Rosary church, previously dedicated to the old patron Saint Theodore, preserves an elegant Renaissance structure.
The simple facade with a single order, framed between cornerstones, features a beautiful lintel portal adorned with a pair of Corinthian columns and surmounted by a window.
The use of sandstone has caused partial erosion of the decorations that once completed the portal. However, the marble shield on the door depicting Saint Theodore on horseback remains intact.
The interior includes a single nave with a quadrangular apse flanked by two niche apses. The roof, a reconstruction, has exposed beams. Altars from different eras are present on the side walls.
The bell tower behind the church bears the date 1792.
The painting of the Madonna of the Rosary is the work of Giuseppe Bonfiglio dated 1608.
