Beautiful and Radiant Aba – Sposari

The artwork, created by Spos.art, reproduces the female image widely represented on the ancient coins of Abakainon, which, according to a suggestion, would represent the Nymph Aba assumed by the ancient inhabitants as their eponym.

Facing the painting, you can admire an engraved stone as if representing an ancient Abacenino boundary.

It was crafted by the skilled hands of the artisans of "Compagnonsdudevoir" during their mission to Tripi with the Polytechnic University of Bari, completing the project of the late Turi Cautela, who passed away suddenly during the artwork's creation.

This was a tribute to the passionate stonemason who, throughout his life, generously and creatively honored his community with his artworks.
